Welcome to the International Bureau of Understanding, also known as INTBU in short.
INTBU symbolizes a universal call to action to solve social problems in the world. It was established for the common good; for the prosperity and happiness of all people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any man, family, race or class of men. It could be described as a movement that nurture and 'Cultivates the Essence of Life.'
To 'Cultivate the Essence of Life' refers to grow the set of properties that make us who we fundamentally are, and which we have by necessity, and without which we loses our identity.
To create a world where all humans VALUE . . .
LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS & SELF-CONTROL . . .
as the intrinsic nature or indispensable quality of human life, and which determines human character . . . one should . . .
"CULTIVATE THE ESSENCE OF LIFE"
that produce these intrinsic values. the essence of life is . . .

A quick Tribute to our Founding Father
INTBU was founded by Frans J Jooste, as a researcher in Sociology, in Pretoria, South Africa in 2010.
His arguments stated that the problems in the world are not political, religious, cultural or economical, but human! We don't understand each other, so how can we live together?
Therefore a Bureau of Understanding was needed. We are all brothers after all!
