Know Your Customer (KYC)

In accordance with regulations, we are obligated to meet international anti-money laundering standards. Part of this requires INTBU (Pty) LTD to verify the identity and residence of its clients.

What is KYC?

KYC stands for Know Your Customer, and financial institutions such as banks and investment firms are required to gather certain information about their clients to ensure they are not involved in cybercrime, terrorism financing, fraud or money laundering.  Your compliance is necessary before you will receive payouts from INTBU (Pty) LTD.

Authenticating your identity by submitting the necessary information and documents can help us protect you and our other clients against identity theft as well.

Required Documents

To verify your identity and residence, please submit the following:

  • Copy of your valid national ID
  • All information must be clearly seen, including all four corners and the front and back of the identity card.

  • Copy of a recent rental lease, municipal document or utility bill
  • All information including your full name and street address should be clear. Utility bills such as those from electric and water companies are valid. Please note phone bills are not acceptable.

Sending Documents

All documents can be scanned or photocopied and then sent via email to  management@intbu.org.
Documents can also be uploaded via the upload documents section in the Member Dashboard.

As a Multi-National Organization, INTBU (Pty) LTD takes seriously the security of our members and the safety of their information. We apply client-cantered controls models, sophisticated encryption methods, and leading-edge security systems that can discern any suspicious activity and trace illegal transactions.
